It supports nearly all video and audio formats such as MKV, MP4, AVI, VOB and others. It can play DVD disks. Though It can’t convert but You can save DVD as VOB and then play in it.
At the first glance, It seems very simple. But It has plenty of useful features. You can play / stream internal, external webcam, TV tuner card, camera and other devices with K-Lite Codec Pack. As well as These devices can be recorded with built in recorder.

In addition, You can switch between available audio languages, load subtitles and take screenshots from a playing video. K-Lite Codec Pack is only designed for the users of Microsoft Windows.

To compile the list, I installed and used KMPlayer. Although, It has plenty of useful features, But After using KMPlayer, I decided not to add it to the list. KMPlayer bombards its users with annoying text and video ads. Don’t use it If you use a limited internet.
